The cabins serve as your personal house at the beach. They are prepared with double beds, air conditioning and a complete bathroom, as well as a complete kitchen that includes a refrigerator, a stove and basic kitchen utensils. Additionally, we provide free internet Wi-Fi in common areas.
To enjoy your stay, we suggest bringing food, drinks, linens, towels, soap and shampoo, as well as sunscreen and mosquito repellent for rainy season. The cabins have cable with 36 channels. We do not provide the TV; you can bring your own or rent one upon your arrival at Gorgona.

You will receive the keys upon arrival to Gorgona. Please show your receipt. (The receipt is given when you pay your reservation at our Panama City office.)
We have studio cabins for 2 guests, 1 bedroom cabins for up to 4 guests, and 2 bedroom cabins for up to 8 guests. Adults and children over two years count as a guest in each cabin.
Yes, you can include one additional person in the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom cabins with an additional cost of $54.00. This service must be requested in advance.
We do not have “all-included” plans. The cabins serve as your personal house at the beach. You can bring any foods or drinks for your stay in our cabins.
No, you do not need to make a reservation. You can go directly to our resort at Gorgona and request a Day-Pass. The entrance fee will include a hut for you to enjoy our resort area. We offer Day-Passes every day, Mondays through Sundays, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The day pass include a hut located beachfront or around the swimming pools. You can enjoy our two swimming pools, kid’s pool, kid’s playground, reclining chairs to take the sun, ping pong tables, volleyball courts and soccer field. If you are planning to visit us on weekdays (Mondays through Fridays) please bring your drinks and lunch. Our restaurant is open on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays for breakfast and lunch. Remember to bring your towels.

You can find us on Google Maps or Waze for easier navigation. Cabañas de Playa “Gorgona” is 85km from Panama City, approximately 90 minutes by car. Take the Bridge of the Americas or the Centennial Bridge towards the country side. Arriving at Chame district you will pass the small town of Bejuco, and the following exit to your left-hand side will be the town of Gorgona. If you have reached Coronado (where McDonald’s is located), you have passed the entrance to the town of Gorgona. After entering Gorgona, please follow the signs along the way to reach our resort. The road to our resort should be to your right-hand side, before reaching Playa Malibu.
Yes, you can take a bus at the Albrook terminal, and ask for a stop at Gorgona. When arriving at Gorgona, we recommend you taking a taxi at the Gorgona entrance and it will take you directly to our resort for $1.00 per person. Alternatively, you can take the Gorgona town bus for $0.35 per person, however this will leave you at the Mini Super Jonathan and from there you will have to walk to our resort down the street to the beach. If you are a party of 4 or more, the bus will take you directly to our resort.
